corner loading

Due to the waf... My old psw 505 was corner loaded and port/driver faced either the back of my tv or the corner window wall. This allows the dreaded black box to be hidden. Any advice on which direction the driver should face? Corner loadibg my open concept floor and 21ft ceiling really gave me the most impact with the xrappy polk sub. I am extremely excited to finally have a real sub in the house!!!!! Also replaced polk speakers with ascend acoustics 340s and 170s. Next year = new receiver and larger tv

The direction probably won't make much of a difference, but it doesn't hurt to try it each way.

Cone direction will make a difference on how tight the bass is. When I had my Velodyne CHT-12, I had to face the driver into the corner to get enough (it still was not enough) bass to work with the rest of my system. The tradeoff was volume vs precision.

With a bigger and better sub, I would keep the cone out of the corner and enjoy the better sound.

You can try both ways and see what you think.
