Need pic of a HSU sub as an endtable
Wife says theirs no way we're putting a "big ugly box" in the living room.
Anyone ever been down this road before ![]() I told her it would be in the corner and could be used as an endtable for a chair it would be next to. Anyone have a nice pic of one of these used as an endtable???(glass on top) Plan on getting a VTF2.3 but I think any of them would do for a pic except a "turbo" or some other odd shaped model. Other option is divorce ![]() |

I have a VTF-3 MK3 and I got a custom slab of glass cut to dress up the top of my sub, for only $35 I think it really dresses it up and turns it into a better end table but it still does just look like a big black box. And no it does not vibrate, which I think it due to HSU great cabinet design which does not flex much, I was a bit worried about it shattering though but I have been running it like this for over a year now. Let me know what you think, thanks.

I must say, that does look pretty good! Never would have thought... and that cost isn't bad either. If I had to do it again, I probably would have gone with that Satin Black instead of the Espresso Veneer I got. Yours looks clean and cost a lot less. I've got some weird warping going on on my unit. Just moved my sub to the front of my room... but it was used as an end table before between a couch and a chair... sorry don't have that pic.

A little late, but here ya go. I went with a runner to protect the top.
I have since cut the runner down to narrow it so I can see more of that nice wood. ![]() http://www.ethanshilling.com/photos/...9_ZYNeY-X2.jpg The wires have also been cleaned up of course. http://www.ethanshilling.com/photos/...6_wPW3N-X2.jpg I do fold the runner back if doing anything with heavy bass, to make sure the port is free for air flow.
