VT-12 + STF-1 + RX-V650

My VT-12 and STF-1 should be delivered today. My Yamaha RX-V650 will arrive shortly. I have one quick question about the "Bass Out" and Crossover settings. After checking out the forums, I am planning on setting the crossover to 80 Hz (The RX-V650 can do 40, 60, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 160, and 200).

There is another setting in the manual where I can set where the "bass out" goes. Three options - sub, front speakers, or both. I was planning on selecting the sub just so my amp/speakers don't have to do as much. Is this a good idea?

80 Hz is the correct setting, as is having the "bass out" set to Sub
