Vinyl setup with 5.1 pkg : wanting 2.1 output Onkyo 706

I have a nice HSu 5.1 with VTF 15 sub.
Onkyo SR 706N or something like that....

Just added a turntable and want straight stereo with added sub output..
Found out I like the sound of 2 channel stereo..... But also want the sub!

I don't think these Stereo settings output to sub by default?

Thoughts?

Hi there!

Just to clarify, you ran the turntable into the SR706 via phono inputs and you're wondering if you can output through the sub? You should be able to. Are you able to check in on the speaker configurations and make sure your speakers are set to small, crossover at 80 Hz. Sometimes your receiver can be in direct mode which would basically disable the sub and set your speakers to full range, so make sure that mode is not enabled.
