HC-1 Mk2 in Stereo Configuration

Is anyone using a pair of HC-1 Mk2s in a 2.1 (or other) configuration? What are your results? I like the added volume/load handling, and the higher impedance of the HC-1s. I am using tube amps, which are always happier with an easier load (12 ohms nominal, according to the manual.)

Thanks!
Mark

I use a 2.1 setup for my turntable. I love the sound of these speakers. I also use a tube phono preamp but not amp. I think for the money these are very very hard to beat .

I use the 2 channel stereo when listening to my albums. I spend a fair amount of time doing this daily. In my opinion the speakers have a wonderful flat response, if that is the correct term. The music just sounds like it should not colored. With my AT7V cartridge it really does sound like the performance is happening in my listening room. The speakers perform wonderfully and don't miss a thing. Maybe if you wanted to spend a very considerable amount more you could come up with something that sounds better, but I don't think it would equal the outlay. These are just my opinion and believe these speakers are very musical and you can listen for hours without any fatigue.
