15h making odd noise.

A few times a movie my sub will make a sound intermittently. It kind of sounds like a large marble in a empty canned food can (obviously not a full can). It will do it at random times when there is a decent amount of bass. It'll do it then rewind the movie and play the same scene and it wont do it. its done it in all variations of plugs and Q control. any ideas?

I had an 8in woofer that had what I think you are describing. In my case, the woofer required service to repair an out of alignment pole piece.
