Summary of all subs - performance characteristics
Is there a summary (in 1 concise table/graph) of each of the subwoofers, either on the forum or on the site, that does a real world comparison of each model and the pros/cons of each?
I'm stuck between deciding on the ULS-15, and VTF3-MK4 and VTF-15H, hard to tell the difference especially for the 2 VTF subs, since the technical specs are identical. |

If your priorities are music, and accuracy, choose the ULS-15. If you want volume, punch, and prefer movies, choose the VTF.

Therein lies my issue is that my audio listening is probably 50/50 for music vs movies.

I vote VTF-15H. I think ULS-15 should be used for music only unless you are in a small room, don't listen loud, or are willing to buy them in multiples.

![]() Good advice so far - i'll have to consider other factors as well, still trying to figure out a way to wall mount the front stage, I am considering building an on the wall media cabinet - open concept to hold my speakers....but proof is in the pudding...gotta get my hands on a TV first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Size size, both of these subs are monsters in their own right - though the VTF seems a lot bigger, but I could find a great hiding place for it ![]() |

First off, I wont buy another 12" sub. So now its simple, if you have the room, get a VTF15h, if you dont get the ULS15.
There is a guy running 4 ULS 15"s, one in each corner, and he loves it. Just a matter of space. FYI, I went from a VTF2MK4 to a VTF15, and it was night and day in my room because I have a large space.
