Need input on 2nd Sub
I'm looking to getting another sub but would like some input. I've got an VTF-15H next to my right speaker and was thing about adding one to the left side. Would it be better to get another VTF-15H. Maybe one sub will be enough just need a better location. What do you guys think my avr is the Denon 4311ci. Please see pictures of my room thanks.

A drawing showing the dimensions of the room and adjoining rooms would help.

The family room is 14'L x 17'W x 8'H, opens to kitchen 12'L x 15'W x 8'H that opens to living. Total 6000 cubic ft with all three rooms. Hope this helps.

I need a sketch showing where you sit, and how those three rooms are linked.

Very nice drawing!
Are you looking for more mid bass hit-in-the-chest bass, or more deep bass? Is placing the sub directly behind your sofa (sideways, woofer lined up directly behind your sweet spot on the sofa) an option? Did you do a subwoofer crawl test? Another option is to have two 15Hs as end tables for your sofa... |

I'm looking for mid bass hit-in-the-chest bass and more deep bass if possible. I cannot place the sub behind the sofa or on the sides.

What placement options besides at the front? If you are limited to the front, then get another 15H and put that in the front left, symmetric with the current sub. Near field placement will help greatly with hit-in-the-chest bass, but that option is out....
