VTF-2 MkII or VTF-3 MkII in my apartment?

After reading many posts here—and trading emails with the very helpful Hsu tech people—I'm on the VTF-2/VTF-3 cusp. I think I've decided on a VTF-2 MkII for my smallish 1-bdrm apartment; I just ordered it. The living room is 12 x 15 with 10.2' ceilings = 1836 cubic feet. But you could argue that the entrance hall and kitchen are just an extension of the living room, which would make the total dimensions closer to 14 x 23 with 9' ceilings (averaging ceiling heights), for a total area of about 2900 cubic feet. There's also one opening (3.6' x 8.1') into a tiny bedroom.

Based on room size, do you think a VTF-3 would be the better sub? I ordered the VTF-2 MkII (piano black) because I don't watch a ton of action/adventure films, plus I'm afraid I'd rarely get to take advantage of the VTF-3 living in an apartment. Any thoughts?
