Hi. I am waiting for the VT-12 to arrive and I realize I need to find some way to conceal the wire runs along the baseboards and/or along the junction of the ceiling and wall. I do not have the option to run the speaker wires via the attic since the 2nd story is above the living room - where the VT-12's will be located.
So, I need some help to find out some solutions. I am looking for something like a sheath or tray that can be painted. Anything like that out there? Also, these are long runs if I have to use the baseboards. This is due to multiple openings in the room where the wires have to route up and over the openings (hallways or entry way). Due to this, something that hides the wires along the junction of the ceiling and the wall would be ideal.
BTW: I found the threads discussing the 12g wire being better for longer runs, so I have ordered that from PartsExpress.com.
Home Depot carries a couple options, I think they're called Wire Mold. The come in 4' sections with a variety of inside and outside corner pieces. Flat, paintable wire works too but you've already ordered your wire so that may be out.
