Monster arrived at Singapore

Hi Pete,
Got all my enthusiast 2 package + 2 more HB-1. Hope you still remember me the trouble maker from Singapore, that was unhappy you recommended the enthusiast 2 package instead of the enthusiast 3 to me.

This thing is so enormous, I am glad there is no damage shipping it half way around the earth. However, after opening I discovered there are some white marks on the sub not sure whether they are scratches, will try to clean it off, just fixed it up yesterday not very sure about everything yet, didn't play it fully worried about the settings don't want to damage anything until I called Pete this morning (Singapore time).

Yesterday, I played a rock music for a short moment and it shook my apartment/flat . Man, this is Singapore and all our apartments/flats are built on breaks. I just hope those staying below me don't complaint that they felt tremors, you know this is asia and we are currently having lots of earthquake in this region.

Anyway, thanks Pete for attending to my phone call appreciate it so much. You know I am just a layman, I will take sometime to explore this monster, it need sometime to burn in, and will let you know how it goes. Thanks for putting extra foams into my packages.

Thanks for the update mystro, I'm glad to hear that the subwoofer is shaking things up nicely! The VTF-2 MK3 is the real deal, excellent choice!

As far as cleaning goes, I recommend using two soft microfiber cloths, one that is wet (with water) and one that is dry. Apply the wet cloth first to one panel of the enclosure, and then wipe that panel with the dry cloth.

Nice speaking with you, and enjoy!

Sincerely,

Hi,

Would like to know what would be the estimated cost and time to order a speaker package and ship to Singapore?

Thanks.

Welcome libratiger, sometime back Dr. Hsu ever mentioned that they have a distributor in Singapore, I think located at Adelphi, maybe Pete can help you on that. But these days it is better to order from abroad, as you know the things in Singapore are so expensive and it is no longer a shoppers paradise.

Hi Pete,
I took your advised and got 2 microfiber and wiped it, I think they are scratches but after wiping they're not so prominent now, unless you look hard enough you will notice some faint scratches. It doesn't matter though, maybe if I use some shoe shine polish it might go away, but I would not want to risk it or it might become worse. Maybe later I might custom make a glass top to protect it or use a table cloth instead.

Pete, I hope you won't mind explaining or email me how to set my sub to Max Extension or Max output. If you won't mind for a layman like me. Thank you in advance.

I also purchased a SPL meter analog and not sure if I need it now, since I used the Onkyo Audyssey 2EQ to setup for me.

Regards,
