Best match for VTF-3 HO
The title says it all. I have a VTF-3HO and would like to add another sub. I would prefer to find something used if possible but may just have to go new so suggestions of past and present models would be appreciated.

Hi there,
For the VTF-3 HO, we don't really offer anything that has that same exact performance, so your best bet is to go with a sub that will play a bit louder and cleaner than that sub so you don't bottleneck your current sub. I would probably recommend going with the VTF-15H Mk1/Mk2 or the VTF-3 Mk5 HP. |

Those are pretty much what I was thinking. Thanks for the advice!

I just bought a 15h mk2 to add to my 3.3 with turbo and mbm 12, I have the turbo with all ports open, do you know how I should run the new sub, as far as ports go with XT32, and to avoid making the 3.3 chuff.

I would suggest a MiniDSP 2x4HD and Umik-1 and free REW software. Then you can get your 3.3 & VTF-15 all playing together as well as possible. Audyssey is rather limited in what it can do, so if you don't get a MiniDSP, then you might have to experiment with the phase switches and re-running Audyssey to see what comes out best.
