1 Sub Input vs. 2
My questions surrounds sub inputs. I own a 3.3 with Turbo and the hookups instructions call for only using one sub input (L or R). With my former Velo sub, they recommended using a "Y" splitter to utilize both inputs. They said not using one could affect the output.
That being said, I tried a "Y" splitter on my Hsu with the result being a much greater SPL...so much that I had to turn both the receiver sub out and sub gain down considerably. So I ask the question, 1 input or 2? Does it hurt to use a "Y" splitter? Does it help to use a "Y" splitter. Is it really just six of one and a half dozen of the other? Thanks for your input. |

You touched on the output levels, but I'm curious, what was the output quality like? Did you notice much/any difference after you adjusted the levels to be roughly the same?
