![]() what amp would you recommend for two ASW-1203 Car Subwoofers?
has anyone tried to put these in your cars? what do you think about the subs? |

It is a great car sub and should not be overlooked.

JL 1000/1 or at least a 500/1 - that is what I have driving 2 of them.

I have a single 1203 in an 0.8 cu_ft sealed enclosure driven by an MTX Thunder 500D. I'm totally afraid to turn the gain on the amp up all the way - not because I fear the sub cant handle it, but rather because Im afraid that the enclosure will burst at the seams.
![]() MTX rates the amp at 250rms @ 4ohms. It feels *more* than enough to make the sub tight and loud. |
