4th of July

Hi, will there be any 4th of July sale for Hsu subwoofers? Hope there will be something like a discount, really thinking of getting a set.

Thanks Pete, and will be looking forward to it. Please also look into discounts for your package deals as well. Father's day deal was only for single sub and that was not really attractive enough. Thanks again.

Or even just a "Start of Summer" sale (Hot Savings, etc.)

For many consumers, any excuse will do work as the justification to make a long-awaited purchase! (not me, but I'm just saying...)

Thanks for the encouragement guys! We typically do not discount 5.1 package systems, because there is already a substantial discount built in to the price. That said, one could always start out with a 2.1 or 3.1 system, and build up from there!

Sincerely,

Or at least some discount on shipping or free shipping to make it even slick, pretty please.

Nothing nice for the package I am aiming for, Enthusiast nor the Ultras packages, sigh.

How come I never see your speakers on sale? Is there any upcoming deal for your speakers?

Hi, Just some opinion if possible.
There is a 25% package discount for this Klipsch BookShelf RB51 model, making it to $1200 and with FS, is this any better than the Hsu Enthusiast package speakers and subwoofers? http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/product...stem-overview/

They look similar, but I think the klipsch looks more applealing though and their current discount also very attractive. Any feedback if possible, I am currently thinking of getting a set, any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The reason that our speakers and package systems involving speakers don't get put on sale is because margins are already pretty tight. Note that the Performance/Enthusiast/Ultra systems already have significant discounts built in to the package price, so any cascading discounts would make margins very tight.

Sincerely,

I'm pretty sure that one would notice a big difference between this system and our Enthusiast 2 system. The speakers are voiced differently and are different in design, and the VTF-2 MK3 subwoofer is one of the best subwoofers on the market in it's price range (it is +/- 1db from 16-200Hz when measured outside and away from reflective surfaces, and has very good output capability). So the real trump card here is the VTF subwoofer, but the HB-1/HC-1 MK2 speakers are unique too.

Note that companies that sell through retail stores always have a significant markup built in to their MSRP so that dealers can make some money on the systems. Our products and package systems have much less markup in comparison, so it's all relative! If sold through dealers, our products and package systems would probably be almost double the price of what we sell it for factory direct.

Sincerely,

Yes, I understand what you mean. What about those who're just interested in a 3.0 setup or 5.0 setup? Recently, I just bought your VTF-2 Mk. 3 (excellent sub by the way) and that was a rather large portion of my budget. I'm in the process of selling my current speakers and was thinking of trying your HB-1 and HC-1 Mk. 2.

Any chance we will see a an HT-1 (tower version of HB-1)? Although I don't think towers are better than bookshelves in any sense, I would love to see what you (Dr. Hsu) would think is a "perfect" tower. I would hope the towers be more effecient than current HB-1, achieving 95 dB or higher effeciency while bass extension closer to 35 hz possibly. That would be an ideal 2.0 setup for music in another room or initial setup for HT allowing lower crossover point for the VTF sub series.

Hey skool,

For a 3.0 or 5.0 setup, we would be happy to offer five percent discount if people ask us about it.

The tower is definitely something we can consider, thanks for asking!

Sincerely,
