Denon 3313CI / HSU Suggestions Request

Hello,

I'm looking for feedback on the viability of a proposed home theater setup.
My room is 15' wide and 16' front to back, with an 8' ceiling.
A Denon Receiver is on a shelf in a wall unit below a television.
The wall unit is offset from the center of the room by 1' because there are steps to one side of the wall unit and the wall unit is up against those steps. That leads to me using shelf type speakers in front.
I'm looking at the Hybrid 15 - 5.1 package in black.
There is room for a subwoofer on one side of the wall unit.
The television screen is too low to place the center speaker right in front of it. The center speaker could go on a shelf above the television at 60" off of the floor or on top of the wall unit at 80" off of the floor. Would that work?
There are two chairs pointing towards the wall unit. The heads of people in those chairs would be about 10' from the center of the wall unit. We would be watching the television, viewing movies and listening to music of all kinds. The volume will be no more than moderate.

I'm new at setting up a system and would appreciate any comments.

Thanks.

RJ

Hi RJDenonHSU,

The Hybrid 15 5.1 package system won't have any problems pressurizing your listening area.

You can try and place the center speaker above the TV and angle it down wards to your listening position. I think the 60" position would be best.

I recommend a severe toe in with the HB-1s, you can try having them cross a couple of feet in front of your listening position.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

Regards,
Ryan
