Post Where to put the Subwoofer?

Hey All,

Since I'm moving, figured I would give the forum suggestions a try with regard to speaker/sub-woofer placement before I move it. I have a VTF2 MK3. Attached is a diagram of the rooms and ceilings are 10 feet. Floor plan is completely open, no walls. I just highlighted in red the intended area of use. Thanks!

Hi Mentatgom,

Thank you for the detailed layout and congrats on the new place! Is it possible to place the VTF-2 Mk3 in the corner between the two sofas (upper right hand corner of the living room diagram)? I would try placing the subwoofer there first and run the subwoofer in max output mode (2 ports open).

Yea, I can put it anywhere... so I'll try that suggestion as my initial position. Thanks Kevin; looks like I'll be spooling out the RCA cable!
