Question for Peter Marcks

I am a returning HSU customer. Would it be better to add an MBM nearfield, than additional 3.3 with turbo of which I already have??? Also, the site says they are still on sale. THe regular 3.3 was 629, do returning customers get additional money of that price?

What would be the price for these, being a returing customer.?

3.3 with turbo

mbm-12

Hey ccarzoo,

The MBM-12 price for returning customer would be $449 (ie. $50 discount). I'm not sure if there would be a discount on VTF-3 Mk3, but feel free to give us a call today and inquire about that.

I'd probably lean towards adding an MBM in your case.

Thanks

Thanks, my room is enclosed @ 19 X 27 X 8...

The 3.3 with turbo adds a ton of low bass. I feel I am just lacking in the mid bass range. Does the MBM take some of the work load off of the 3.3 and make it seem more powerful??

Do I need an equalizer or something to assist with the two subs?

THanks,

Christopher

Hi Chris,

Absolutely, the MBM will take strain off the -3 HO turbo, so that both the mid-bass and the deep bass performance will be improved. I'm sure you will be really happy with it! I wouldn't say that it is absolutely necessary to use an equalizer.
